John Woods is a Partner in the firm's Advisory Group.

In practice since 1980, he joined the firm in 1990 and now practises principally (though not exclusively) in:

• contract formation (with an emphasis upon local government related agreements of all descriptions);

• structuring vehicles for the exercise of local government enterprise power;

• construction contracts, consultancy agreements and contract administration;
  

• provision of subject‑specific specific advice upon issues spanning the broad range of local government activity; and

• undertaking major property acquisitions, disposals, and developments (servicing local government and private industry).
