Tanya joined King & Company in 1998, primarily to assume responsibility of the firm's book keeping functions. She quickly showed enthusiasm towards assuming responsibility for undertaking all the firm's administrative functions and, as a consequence, was re-designated as the firm's Office Manager on 1 January 2000 and General Manager on 1 July 2004. In 2007, Tanya completed her Bachelor of Business (Accountancy), with an extended major in Professional Accounting, though the Queensland University of Technology.

In her role as General Manager, Tanya performs all day to day to administrative operations of the firm. This arrangement allows the Managing Partner to focus his energies on monitoring the overall operation of the firm.
